Pool Events
Pool competition events will be at the FINA approved, state of the art Parap Pool.
Completed in 2018 and just 4 km from the Darwin CBD, the Parap Pool, consists of a 10 lane 50m competition pool and a 6 lane 25m warm-up pool.
Water temperature is maintained within the range 27-29 Degrees C.
It is an open air complex, with part shade over the pools and with surrounding shaded lawn space. Spectator tent cover will be provided, along with transportable grandstand seating.
Marshalling will be outside the clubroom, in between the 25m and 50m pool.
The aquatic centre is wheelchair accessible, with disabled car parking available on site. Parking is free
Open Water Events
The open water event will be held at the Darwin Waterfront Lagoon, located at the southern end of the CDB. It has two netted enclosures which will be used for the 1.6 km and 3.2 km swims. Marshalling will take place in front of Wharf One on the grass.
The Waterfront is wheelchair accessible, with plenty of onsite parking available (under 2 hours free).
