Just 4 km from the Darwin CBD, the Parap Pool, completed in 2018, consists of a 10 lane 50m competition pool and a 6 lane 25m warm-up pool. Water temperature is maintained within the range 27-29 Degrees C. It is an open air complex, with part shade over the pools and with surrounding shaded lawn space. Spectator tent cover will be provided, along with transportable grandstand seating.
The Waterfront Lagoon, venue for the Open Water Swim, is located at the southern end of the CDB. It has two netted enclosures which will be used for the 1.6 km and 3.2 km swims.
